Music has been a part of his life since he was a child. Many hours were spent singing with his mom while she played the guitar, and at the age of 12 Simon started to play the guitar as well. He soon found a band that he played with for 10 years.
In 2004 he got in at The Danish Academy of Musical Theatre, which he graduated from in 2007. Since then he has worked in musicals all over the country. Besides being on stage and singing in different choirs, Simon is also the Danish voice for many cartoon characters. It is also possible to enjoy his voice on National Geographic Channel as he is the Danish speaker.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”David Lustrup Jensen” tab_id=”1397304216381-6-10″][vc_single_image css_animation=”appear” img_link_target=”_self” image=”13447″ img_size=”medium”][vc_column_text]Full blog post article on David Lustrup Jensen[/vc_column_text][dt_gap height=”20″][vc_column_text]David is the vocal percussionist of the group. He is 26 years old, but since the age of 2, music and singing has been a huge part of David’s life. He started off as a classical singer in different professional boys choirs and has gradually been moving towards working with the rhythmic music.
When needed, David functions as an additional bass in CPH a cappella, but his primary function is his beat boxing, which is a huge hobby and a professional passion for him. He uses these skills in most of his work with music including his own music which he composes on a loop station.
Besides CPH a cappellayou can experience him as a choir conductor when he is doing concerts with his choirs, as a musician when performing with his band, and as a singer/beat boxer when performing as part of choirs such as Vokalkompagniet. At the moment David is working on his master thesis which focuses on vocal improvisations in groups. He will be graduating in the winter of 2014.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Sara Poulsen ” tab_id=”1397304211621-2-1″][vc_single_image css_animation=”appear” img_link_target=”_self” image=”13445″ img_size=”medium”][vc_column_text]Full blog post article on Sara Poulsen[/vc_column_text][dt_gap height=”20″][vc_column_text]Sara is a 30-year old actor and singer from Copenhagen, who is educated from Performing Arts School in Gothenburg. She has done several musicals, revues, and shows all over Denmark.
Sara was born into a family full of musicians, where you’d rather be gathered around the piano than the television. She started her professional career at the age of 10, when she debuted as Martha in Sound of Music. Through her childhood years and teens she starred in several shows, whilst practicing her music and attending school.
Sara’s voice can be heard in more than 300 different Danish television programs, and stars in a wide array of cartoon titles. She is probably best known as the voice behind the older sister Candace in Phineas and Ferb.
Sara’s great passion for choir bits and a cappella singing started when she became a part of Sankt Annae Youth Choir, whilst doing her A-levels. It was around that time she got her first CD with the Swedish a cappella group ”The Real Group”, and it is safe to say, that the CD has been played at least a thousand times since then.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Dénise Stockmann ” tab_id=”1397304212542-3-0″][vc_single_image css_animation=”appear” img_link_target=”_self” image=”13444″ img_size=”medium”][vc_column_text]Stockmann Stage was started by Dénise, so you can find more info about her on the “About” page[/vc_column_text][dt_gap height=”20″][vc_column_text]Dénise has a master’s degree in Theatre Research and Musicology.
